Altar Guild and Upcoming Church Events

Altar duty for the month of March will be covered by Mary Stauffer and Grace Bolton. Mary can be contacted at 301-884-3850 and Grace at 301-274-3486. If you have any special requests or concerns during this month please contact Marge in the church office at 301-884-3773 or our Rector, The Rev. Dr. Erich Junger at 703-881-1556. This would apply to weddings, funerals and other special services that might arise so that they may assist you.

On Thursday, March 11, at 7:00 p.m. here at All Faith we will be having a special Installation Service welcoming the Rev. Erich Junger to our parish as our rector. The Right Rev. John Bryson Chane will preside that evening. Prior to the service there will be a supper buffet in the church hall beginning at 5:45 PM. Everyone is invited to the service and the buffet to celebrate this occasion.

Palm Sunday is March 28. Palms will be distributed at the start of both services.

We will not be having a Maundy Thursday service this year. Instead we are hosting a Seder Dinner which will occur on Thursday, April 1. See the announcement in the newsletter for details. Communion will be served after the Seder and the altar will be stripped.

Good Friday Services will take place on Friday, April 2 at both 10:30 AM and 7:00 PM. All are welcome to attend.

Easter Sunday we will have services at 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM as usual, with an Easter egg hunt taking place between the services at 9:30 AM.
No Sunday School will occur on Easter Sunday, as the children will be joining the congregation for the 10:30 AM service and the first communion class participants will receive their first communion. The children will also give a short performance in celebration.

Orders for Easter flowers are due to the parish office by Sunday, March 21. An order form can be obtained by calling the office or in your newsletter. Please also include your check or other payment for the flowers at the time of your order.
