Pastoral Care By Alma Rawlings Our deepest sympathies go out to the Burroughs Family and the Groome Family for the loss of their loved ones. Due to illness I have not been able to do much visitation over the past few weeks, but I plan to get back on schedule as soon as possible. As always if you know of somebody in need of encouragement, or a care card, please let me know. Please call me or the church office if you would like to add people to our prayer list. I plan to put out a list of parishioners to each individual who has volunteered to work with the phone tree. That way if something occurs within the parish everybody will be notified—maybe not personally by me, but by someone. In keeping with current trends, you should also receive an e-mail from the church if an important occasion arises. This may not seem personal to some of you, but it is a very quick and efficient way of notifying everyone since most people have e-mail. |
