Annual Fall Dinner

Annual Fall Dinner: Our 2009 annual fall dinner is usually held the first Saturday in November from noon till 5 p.m.

Our menu features fried oysters, stuffed ham, fried chicken, green beans, beets, apple sauce, sweet potatoes, coleslaw, dinner rolls, tea and coffee.

The Annual Fall Dinner was a great success again this year. Our goal was to serve at least 600 dinners. We served nearly 650. There were may compliments about the food items on the menu. I would like to congratulate and thank everyone that contributed to the success of the dinner. The monetary donations were greatly appreciated. We had a large number of the food items paid for by generous contributions, and some of the advertising costs were also paid for. The Silent Auction was a huge success and we hope to expand on the auction next year. Thank you for all the baked goods and craft items that magically appeared before the dinner kicked-off at noon. Many thanks to everyone for all that you did to make the dinner a wonderful successful fundraiser for the church. Pat yourself on the back, feel good about all your hard work, and hopefully sign up to help again next year. :) Once again, THANK YOU, for all your donations.
