CHURCH SCHOOL NEWS Lent is here! The children are learning about what Lent means in their lives. If your child did not receive the Lent work books and calendars please contact me. Our communion classes have started. We have 7 children enrolled. We have two groups now, one for pre-school and one for the older children who are taking the communion class. The older children will be taking their first communion on Easter Sunday. There won’t be Sunday school on that particular day as the children will be partaking in the service with a song and their first communion. Between services on Easter Sunday we will be hosting our annual egg hunt and celebrating the resurrection of Christ. Everyone is welcome. Donations for our egg hunt are welcome. Thanks to Nelly Sommerkamp and Terry Ressler for volunteering to help with the classes and music. God’s blessing for all the support we have received from all of you. As ever in Christ, Ms. Alma |
