CHURCH SCHOOL NEWS In addition to regular Sunday school, the Sunday school program will be providing a first communion class beginning on February 21, the third Sunday in February. Regardless of whether your child is already taking communion, this class will give a better understanding of the Eucharist and its meaning. The younger children will have another teacher while the children from first grade up should attend first communion class. The sessions will run for about five Sundays. Weather permitting the children will take their first communion on Easter Sunday. It is important for the children to try to attend all five classes. Please come at 10:15 on February 7 so I can explain what the class will be like and you will have a better understanding what your children will be learning. If you would like to sign up your child and have not already, please contact either the church office or Alma Rawlings. We are happy and encouraged that Sunday school continues to be well attended.
